Bob Martin Photography
Bob Martin is a phenomenal sports photographer based out of England. He is a very seasoned pro considering he has been in the photography world for over thirty years! Bobby has taken pictures of pretty much anything in the sports world. From the Olympics in London to horse racing on ice! Bob is the only Sports Illustrated photographer who is based outside of the United States, amazing right! Bob Marin truly is one in a million and so are his photos. Bob Martin is a very professional photographer and he loves his job working for the Olympics as well as Sports Illustrated. Bob Martin reflects on his amazing experience in Torino, during the 2006 winter Olympics. He was amazed about how many people there were. He said there are just as many photographers as there are spectators! “Makes sense though, anyone can be a photographer these days.” He says, referring to the fact that there are more and more high quality cameras available every day. I really admire Bob Martin’s work. The diversity and absolute professionalism he displays is mind blowing really. Bob’s photos are extremely high quality and he knows how to get work done. He really shows his passion for photography through his photos as well, considering the fact that he is the only Sports Illustrated photographer based out of the United States. That alone proves the fact that Bob Martin is the cream of the crop when it comes to Sports Photography. http://www.bobmartinprints.com/ http://www.imagesource.com/blog/bob-martin-olympic-imagery/ ww.sportsphotographer.net/sports_photographer/bob-martin-photography Things worked out really well when there was an obvious subject in the photo you were shooting.
Thinks did not work out when your picture was kind of cluttered and there were many things people could look at. I learned that my favorite type of aperture is a large aperture with a small F-Stop I really enjoy being able to see the subject very clearly. Something that worked was holding still while we were using a long shutter speed.
Something that did not work at all was if someone moved while using long shutter speed, it blurred the photo and would usually ruin what we were trying to accomplish. I learned that using a light, a dark room, and a long shutter speed you can take some incredible pictures that look absolutely magical. :) |
